The 8Y A3, S3 and RS3 run a full touchscreen dash with no vent surround to bolt a bracket to, so Clearmounts built this one around a low-profile 17mm adhesive mounting ball. It sits on the plastic or glass bezel beside the MMI screen using 3M automotive adhesive (removable, no marks) and keeps the phone up high where you can see it. The swivel MagSafe head snaps your phone on with strong N52 phone-safe magnets, so there are no metal plates to stick to your case. Run it in portrait or landscape and angle it towards you or your passenger.
Works with any MagSafe-equipped iPhone (iPhone 12 and later) and any phone or case with a MagSafe-compatible magnet ring. For the strongest hold, use a MagSafe case or run your phone without a case. A MagSafe adhesive ring is included for cases without magnets. Two mounting balls are supplied, so you have a spare or a second position.
